HTMT CEO, R Mohan, awarded the Indira Super Achiever Award

Mr. R Mohan, President & CEO, Hinduja TMT, the IT flagship company of the Hinduja Group is the recipient of the Indira Super Achiever Award 2004 in recognition of his commendable contribution to the company and the corporate world. Mr. Mohan will be presented the award on the 5th of November at the Taj Residency, Bangalore. Instituted by the Indira Group of Institutes, Pune and presented in association with Center for Change Management, Mumbai, the super achiever series aims to recognize corporate talent and to enhance industry-academia interface.

The series has been directed by Dr. R.L. Bhatia and researched by Centre for Change Management, Mumbai. Centre for Change Management has a dedicated research cell, committed to research on professionals whose contribution to the organization is the highest. "The concept of Super Achievers is based on the belief that professionals who are exceptional role models need to be recognized so that they in turn mentor the next generation. It is a pleasure to give the award to corporate leaders such as Mr. Mohan who has a passion for success and in his professional tenure has led teams to excel," said Dr Bhatia at the award ceremony.

Mr. Mohan took over the reigns of HTMT's IT Division in 2002 and since, has been instrumental in setting the company on an accelerated growth path. Dealing with IT & IT enabled Services, under his leadership HTMT has grown to become among the top 10 ITeS companies in India. He has been part of the team that founded companies like Mphasis BFL Ltd and has also worked with industry leaders like Wipro. Today, Mr. Mohan is perceived as one of the top opinion leaders for the IT & ITeS industry in the country. "I feel honoured to receive this award. Being among the top players in the industry, we at HTMT, are faced with many challenging situations. In this scenario, apart from strong leadership, a capable army is also required to steer the company. I have my team to thank for this award. This will ensure that the economy of the future will be in good hands," said Mr. Mohan on receiving the award.
