Utilizing advanced telephony allows our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) provide accurate and up-to-the-minute information — even for the most complex inbound and outbound programs, not just over the telephone but also across media like the net, mail or chat.

Each toll-free number is associated with a particular telecom provider, such as AT&T, Sprint or MCI WorldCom. The telecom provider is called the Responsible Organization (Resporg). For a toll-free number to terminate on a telecom provider's network, that telecom provider must be the Resporg.

When a new client joins Source 1 HTMT and wants their traffic to terminate at our ACD, we either must have the same telecom provider or forward the phone number to one of our telecom service providers.

Each toll-free number has a unique routing number assigned to it. This routing number is used by the telecom provider to route the call to a particular trunk or to a POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) line. Advanced toll-free number features allow us to customize how a call from a toll-free number is handled.

Source 1 HTMT uses state-of-the-art IVR equipment with capabilities that are constantly evolving to adapt to changes and progress in technology. As technology changes, so do we!
